question for modern player registry set collectors

Does anyone have any tips on how to go about handcutting cards from the '83 Topps Foldouts set? I submitted one and got a 6. I see there are a few 7's and 8's that have been slabbed. Any insight would be appreciated.

I have submitted one 1983 Topps Foldout of Perez and received an 8. I had to look through several folded groups to find one with the crease/bend not directly on the card. Once I found one I used a large paper cutter to cut it out. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the tip. i think i have a few more unopened packs which included the Garvey card. I'll give it a shot and hope for something better than a lousy 6.
