I always get a bit anxious when someone purposely gives me a fuzzy pic or scan.

Probably has a pinhole. They didn't give it a 1 which I think is standard for pinholes, because it did look nice.

I could be wrong, but a pinhole is an automatic 1 no matter how nice the card is.

With crappy pictures and no great closeups it is anyones guess as to why this is a 2. Just know way to tell. How could one who is serious about selling this card not realize the poor quality of the scans and not redo them?

PSA will grade a card a 2 if it deems a card at one time had a crease and it was rolled out. perhaps that is what happened there?

    Cuz it did happen here

I have to really trust the seller before I'll buy a card with an image from a digital camera. I mean you can buy a perfectly acceptable scanner for $49 - which will be much better suited to the purpose than even a $1500 digital SLR even.

Well, the guy says no paper loss and no pinholes.
It took me twelve seconds to type this, so I think another one has been born.

It's a 2 for a reason, and if you actually bid on this expecting differently, you'll find out why it is a 2 as soon as it's in your hands.

I agree, it is a 2 for a reason. If the seller is so sure it should be an 8 why does he/she not crack and resubmit then?

    I know I would.

Yes, a pinhole is an automatic 1 regardless of condition. The card looks like it has been bleached. Probably smells like Clorox.
