what would you buy that would have the best potential down the road? This is a question a friend asked me today. I told him I am pretty much into vintage and was not really sure. I told them that I do have some very knowledgeable collectors (you) that I could ask on some message boards.

I did tell them that I would think that anything they would buy would be very speculative as far as increase in value. They said they knew that, but they want to buy a box or two or more. No one can guarantee that something will increase in value, but they would like to know what packs would have the best potential.

Anyone have any thoughts they would like to share?

I think the most popular set of the year will the the Topps Heritage. Holding value? Who knows what 10 years will bring but I think the Topps Heritage will be enjoyed for longer than most.
