Football (1978 - 1986) wax break - opinions

I received two unopened wax packs from each of 1978, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985 and 1986 as a gift. I do not collect football cards. The following scans are some of the best conditioned cards from the packs. Would it be worth it to grade some or all of them? Thanks for any help. If anyone is interested, I will make the cards available to the board members. If anyone is working on sets from the above referenced years, please let me know and I will send you the list of cards that I have. The cards listed below all have very sharp corners and edges under 10x magnification. Thank you for your opinions.

  • Packman - I love your scans, but.... I just have to mention, these things take forever to load. If I can offer a suggestion - when you scan them, change the resolution to 100 dpi before you save the file. This should reduce the file size to about 20% of what they are now and will not hurt the appearance at all.

Thanks for the pics - I enjoyed them.

  • Sorry about the scans. I appreciate the tip. I will try lowering the resolution on my next group of scans.

  • I think that would qualify. That is a great looking card. Please let me know if it is available and what you would want in return. Thanks.

I collect Vintage Cards, Commemorative Sets, and way too many vintage and modern player collections in Baseball (180 players), Football (175 players), and Basketball (87 players). Also have a Dallas Cowboy team collection.
