Do you guys think this guy really expects someone to actually buy this? The whole card numbered to jersey thing really bugs me.

    Just a note to give you a value on this card I have offered the guy that has the Sp Authentic Peyton Manning 0018/2000 Bgs 9 Mint not Gem Mint $10,000 and he turned me down.

    well then why not BIN on a 9.5 for 2500? link

    Here is what I asked the seller...

    Is that the right price? I see another 9.5 (wow, there is another one..) for 1,200 BIN...also, the Manning can be had right now for 2500 BIN...I think you have an extra 0 in your BIN price...

    because his offer was for the 0018/2000, not 0758/2000..

    His description reminds me of one of those long-winded, bs-filled infomercials on The Shopping Network that make you want to buy a George Foreman for $200 when you can buy one at K-Mart for a quarter of the price image

    this guy has been spending some SERIOUS coin on insert cards...

    why why why...do many here actually buy a lot of insert cards? Is it for your favorite player? Do you think they will really go up in value?

    Just curious as to why someone would spend several K on an insert card versus a really nice older established card...

    I remember this card ending during last year's Super Bowl (great timing!). If I remember correctly, it went for about $7-8 grand then...

    I don't think he seriously plans on selling this. Either just feeling the market or showoff'ing his favorite card.

    I emailed him also and told him it wasn't a 1/1!!All he came back with is how I spend $3-10$ on Brady rookie cards.I guess he's more interested in my feedback than his own stupidity!!

    He did the same thing with me....went back and looked at every auction for the past 2 months and was ragging on an item I bought my daughter...he sounds like an ego freak...

    I think an email blitz by the fine collectors here may be in order for some funny responses....I told him good luck with all those insert cards, maybe they'll hold 10% of their value by next year...
