I have the GB Exhibition Crown dated 1960 but when I saw this on the bay I had to have it! Not bad for $4 delivered. 
The case is busted but the medal sure is sweet. The darker edge toning has has shades of lilac when tilted.

No, either copper or "red" brass, weight is 28.7 grams. The color is too light for bronze and too dark for regular brass.
