FSH: PCGS VF35 - Colonial 1795 George Washington Liberty & Security - Temporarily Unavailable

PCGS VF35, Undated 1795 Washington Liberty and Security Penny Colonial
Copper, 19.72 grams
33.25 mm Diameter
PCGS Population in VF35 = 3

Obverse: Washington bust facing left..."GEORGE WASHINGTON."
Reverse: Eagle with arrows and branch atop shield with stripes and stars..."LIBERTY AND SECURITY"
Edge: Lettered..."AN ASYLUM FOR THE OPPRESS'D OF ALL NATIONS"

These are usually found in high grade (MS+) and can prove pretty difficult to find in a nice circulated grade. This one is a strong VF35 with a PCGS population for the grade of just 3.

This coin was made in either late 1794 or 1795. It is the undated Washington Liberty and Security Copper Penny designed by Thomas Wyon and struck by Peter Kempson.

$625.00, includes insured shipping - 7 day return policy as long as coin is in same condition

The coin appears a slight bit reddish in the photos from my lighting. It is an even, deep chocolate brown in color.
