There are so many people on this board taking excellent photos and many of them certainly deserved this award much more than me. When I discovered this forum about a year ago, I was thrilled about the photo skills of the people here, that was one of the reason why I joined this forum, besides the very nice people here.
Phil (darkhorse) showed his pics, Bill (cosmicdebris) is an excellent photographer, he showed his artwork here a long time before I knew this forum and usually he does every week, Dan (coinpictures) does an excellent job too, only three of the, as oldshep said, group with amazing picture taking skills!
I must confess that I sometimes was lurking on the lightside too, especially when they had their picture taking contests.
These great people and their artwork inspired me, I looked at their wonderful pictures long before I was able to get acceptable pictures myself. I tried to find out how they had made it, tried to imagine how they had their lighting setup, I think I've read every photographing tip on this board.
This IPODT is due to these great people here, who helped me to get my current skills, without them I would never and had never been able to take the pictures I've showed to you yesterday!
This IPOTD is dedicated to you all!

That said, there are indeed others who have vastly improved, and those like Cosmic who are at the top of their game. Then there's the home-grown prodigy (as in CU-grown) who have made this imaging their vocation, aka DARKHORSE of PCGS.
So to everyone, keep up the good work......FORWARD!!
