  • Nice cards!

Would you help out this rambling idiot.

I'm a novice who is hoping to recapture his youth by collecting the first cards he saved as a youngster. I'm putting together a set of 1958 Topps baseball cards (I only need 12 more to go!). But I have stayed away from all those graded cards. They are too expensive. No matter, so far I've picked up some sweet non-graded cards that I would put against those commons you have listed on EBay. They have good color, centered and pretty sharp corners.

As you can tell, this is my first venture into vintage cards. Until now, I have only collected Topps Heritage (I've got three cases coming) and condition has always been perfect.

So, in words that a stupid old fool like me can understand, is it worth having cards graded if I'm not collecting for an investment?
