Chinese Morgan Dollar

I got 5 Morgans back from ANACS on 1/20 and I found that in place of my 1900 MS 63 Morgan dollar, they put what I believe to be a Chinese coin in the slab! And the slab identifies my lost Morgan dollar. The Standard Catalog seems to indicate that it's a 1937 2 Chiao coin. I'm sending it back to ANACS at their request. Can you imagine that it got by their quality control procedures? If anyone wants to post a photo of it, I'll send you an email with a pic and you can post it for me. I still haven't figured out how to post it myself yet.
P.S. Not trying to humiliate ANACS, just think it's an interesting story. If they don't get my Morgan back, it will be covered by insurance. When I called them, they were quite surprised , to say the least.

    I would love to see a photo of that one! What was the grade of the missing Dollar?

    So which is correct? The coin or the plastic? This could be a very rare Morgan error that came out as a 2 jiao coin from the future.

    If the slab describes the grade and denomination of the morgan dollar and not the chinese coin, you probably might be the first to have an excessively rare slabbing error. I don't know or rather be afraid of how high it could go on the bay. lol image

    Has ANACS located the original Morgan Dollar or did the guy who sent the Chinese coin in get a surprise?

    I would love to see it on Ebay, just out of curiosity... but Im sure anacs would not image

    What's new? I've had over 5 mechanical errors on Swiss submissions in the last year from PCGS. Now, if they'd just replace a real gemmy 5 Franc Helvetia with an equally gemmy Una DCAM proof, I'd be happy!! image

    Then, the label could say it was a bacon burger, and I wouldn't care!!!!image

    Answers: The slab describes my missing Morgan dollar and yes, I did ask for some free slabbing in order to get compensation for this problem. And my Morgan is missing and will be covered by insurance if it doesn't show up. As for ebay, it's not my coin to sell.image
