Would you be leery of this card? Strange scan...

I need Jeff Burroughs rookie for my '85 Jays collection and this PSA 8 would be great. But would you be leery of a scan like this? (Sorry I don't know how to do a link)

    That might be just a real bad scanner. I assume the cert # checks out.

  • He has the brightness and contrast on his scan turned way up probably because he hasn't calibrated his monitor correctly. Looking at his sales he has made a few high dollar sales with no problem. If the card cert checks out I don't see why you wouldn't bid on this card if you need it.


    BTW to add a link all you need to do is

    1. copy the http address by highlighting it in your search bar (click your mouse in the bar where the http address is
    2. right click then click copy
    3. In the tool bar where you are posting to this board there is a box where it says http. click that and when the box opens clear the http that is in there, point your mouse into the empty box right click, then click paste, then click okay.

    Messed with the image a little so you could check out the centering. Looks pretty good :

    Man!! did he scan that card off a Halogen light?!!
