Extremely ugly. Can't understand why GAI can't make regular holders for their thick cards and tall boys. Doesn't do much for eye appeal when everything goes into pack, and box holders, etc. Seller has offered this once or twice before with no takers.
Hmm, I wonder when he got it? I saw this card at the Tri Star show in KC around May 2004. He was asking a helluva lot more for it then. I don't remember exactly but IIRC it was in the $25k range. I wonder what it actually ended up selling for.
Regardless of what you think of GAI, I personally don't mind them in most cases, but that holder is awful. I like thier other holders, why they don't have a nice version of that holder, I have no idea. I am certain it keeps a lot of tall boy cards out of their holders simply because of that. Now, I did see this card a couple years ago, so I'm not sure if they've created a more conventional holder for tall boys yet or not.
That holder is ugly, no doubt. I do question why GAI can't holder larger cards or other documents in a similar holder. I actually think their standard holder would look good in a larger format.
