Next up at ANR: Richard Jewell Collection of Commemorative Coins

The Jewell Collection of $3's, along with the release of the QDB/DW book on the series, energized the market for this thinly-traded, odd denomination, scarce gold series. This March in Baltimore, ANR will be auctioning Mr. Jewell's commems. Has anyone seen his collection? (His $3's were on display amongst the exhibits at the 2004 ANA, about 9 months ahead of the auction). Unlike $3's, there are quite a few high profile, wel-regarded commems sets around. How does the Jewell Collection stack up? Can this auction have the same effect on the market for commems? (I personally doubt it, but there are signs that the commems might be the next part of the market to lift.)

You stole a post I was just about to write!

To add to your questions, does anyone know if there will be a Pedigree Series book related to this collection?
