waht would a 1909 lincoln wheat penny be worth? it is an error coin because its reverse is rotated. it has all the wheat lines and the jaw bone is little if not worn at all... wheat stalks are in really good shape.

Book value for a 1909 in Fine is about $1.75. An '09 VDB is $4.25.

It is actually hard to tell from your discription could be any place from 3-4 dollars to thousands !!!

The wheat stalks on the back are the grains full or worn ? on both right and left? on the (reverse...back) at the bottom between the wheat is there a V.D.B.? Is there a mint mark on the (obverse ... front). What color is it...brown...red....red and brown?.....all of these things effect the value.....including any error.....which usually has to be 10% or greater to demand a higher premium....


AND WHAT EVER YOU DO DON"T CLEAN IT !!!

Improper cleaning can turn a $1000. coin into a $ 100 coin real quick!!!
