i think so as well...may go 45 on a regrade on a good day...is it worth it to reholder?

  • seems like a big spread in price from a 40 to an au50 so could be significant

Realize this may be a bit late, but it looks like it has some pretty nasty hits on the cheek, w/one rather deep, albeit small in the center cheek area. 46-C's circulated extensively, so finding one in VF-lower AU grades without major dings is a challenge. Looks like PCGS net-graded it to XF-40 due to the hits, not to mention the light scratches in the field in front of Liberty's chin... even though it's in a green holder, there's probably a reason why noone has tried to resubmit for fear of it getting bodybagged due to damage... No doubt the 46-C is a very tough date, but I would pass on this one.
    Got Crust....y gold?

Looks like a nice strong AU but it has been cleaned and has quite a bit of chatter, hence the net grade of XF40.

Come on folks, a severely undergraded high priced coin on TT? In an old PCGS holder? Almost never.
