<< <i>Wow!......That ought to bring a few more out of the woodwork! >>
Have you noticed all the wrongly attributed raw ones showing up lately?
I'm currently having an email war with "3315metal" about his auction not being a type 2. He says "it is a type two, look at the small lettering in STATES on the back, and check the redbook page xxx, it clearly shows this coin to be a type 2."
And that's only one of them. I'm spending way too much time emailing the misinformed, or scammers...
Wow, guess I did sell out too early. I have an MS63 I just made as well as my 64 I made a few years ago. Those are not going anywhere anytime soon. I just looked on eBay and saw a 64 selling for $596 with some hours left to bid and another 63 for $400.
This is great! I almost sold out awhile back and I'm glad I didn't. I wish I knew how high these could go to sell out at the right time (don't we all)...But, I'll just keep them stashed away for several more years and TRY to forget about them...
Anyone here think the Types I and III will follow?
Don't get me wrong, I made a few dollars on the ones I did sell (all NGC 62 and 63 [8 total]), but I prefer the PCGS coins anyway. My latest PCGS MS63 coin was originally in a PCI AU50 holder. Was obviously undergraded.
Wow. A year ago, you could buy a PCGS 64 type 2 for around $400.00. Now it is double! I need to get my coin sent in for attribution. I do not think the type 2 can maintain that level of trading, but then again, I have been wrong before and could be this time.
Can you provide a link so I can learn the difference?? Thanks.

Thanks - gotta learn some new stuff to keep the brain from rotting.

No problem! If you look hard enough at shows and dealers, you can still find these for a buck or two. In my most recent submission I got an MS64 out of a $3.00 Ebay transaction. I don't think a lot of dealers have jumped on the wagon with these. For some, they are still just modern junk. One man's junk, is another man's.....
I sold my ANACS 64 type II some time ago and, though I wish I still had it, I'm not about to pay over $800 for another one. I think $500 is doable though.
I've had great transactions with people like: drwstr123, CCC2010, AlanLastufka, Type2, Justlooking, zas107, StrikeOutXXX, 10point, 66Tbird, and many more!

Hey James, got a price list of what you have for sale?
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
Wow!......That ought to bring a few more out of the woodwork!

I can rest until the next one...
The $ 440.00 price tag is about what the coin should be selling for in that grade. The MS 65 IS WAY UNDERPRICED AT $ 3,500.00.

<< <i> Then what's a 66 worth??? >>
Easily North of ten large
Anyone here think the Types I and III will follow?
WOW! 64 @ $851
PCGS 64 - $40 to $70
PCGS 65 - $300 to $500
Type I - slightly higher prices
I know those are some big spreads, but IKEs (especially 72P) have been crazy lately
As shown in this thread, Type II's are going bonkers

Are you sure your not just saying that so you can grab them all up and put them in your Fantasy $1,000,000 portfolio?

Maybe I am, or maybe I am not. I can tell you one thing. I already know which selection of coins will go into my portfolio.

James, I feel that $ 20, 000 + would not be unrealistic for a MS 66.
I have not been able to find raw examples in more than 4 months at the shows.
But, it worked out great for you
<< <i>Agflyer, congrats on the BIN! >>
Agflyer, another congrats !! You made a super buy !! The seller was WAY UNDERPRICING the coin at current demand !!!!!!
