Gamblin', gamblin', gamblin'... RAWHIDE!

I think that's how the song goes. image

Some Ebay BIN gambles. The Philippine pieces especially could be quite nice (or conversely I might be buried in them image ).
  1. Latvia 5 Santimi, 1922. No initials. Cost: $3.00. Linky. While this is one of my favorite sellers, he drives me nuts by so frequently only showing one side of a coin.

  2. Switzerland Rappen, 1912. Cost: $6.75. Linky. Looks like it could either be RD or RB. Either way, not a bad price.

  3. Mexico 20 Centavos, 1935. Cost: $6.88. Linky. I like the dark mottled toning on this one. Will be interesting to see it in hand.

  4. Vaud 1 Batzen, 1830. Cost: $30.00. Linky. I've said before that I really like the Swiss Cantons. This looked like a nice way to get an almost-mint-state example without breaking the bank.

  5. Philippines, pair of 1904 Centavos. Cost: $17.00. Linky. Looks like they both have the potential to be nice, one dark (yay! image) and one red.

  6. Philippines 5 Centavos, 1904. Cost: $23.00. Linky. As the auction description says, it might be a business strike or it might be a proof. I'm concerned that it may be dipped. We'll see...
