OK Justin's sig is as bad as Greg Maddux!

But what's with the Brock? Is that a joke?

I have to admit at first I laughed at the Brock sign it here. UD obviously must ship the cards with a coating over where they want the athlete to sign and Brock missed that one. Poor QC by UD.

Justin's auto in upside down on the card if I'm not mistaken.

I have had several of the Sign Here cards before. My question is, if they are signed in the presence of a represenative wouldn't they show them where to sign? I guess they just mail them and get them back and lie about witnessing the sig.

    I don't know...

UD says they are signed in front of reps - I thought.

No matter what - I think it's kind of lame if a guy can't figure out "where" to sign a card?

  • I'm looking at the back of one of my UD SPA patch auto rookies right now and it reads:

You have received an Event-Worn Patch trading card personally autographed by Reggie Brown. On the front of this card is an authentic piece of a patch from an event-worn jersey used by Reggie Brown at the 2005 NFL Players Rookie Premiere Photo Shoot. This trading card was sent to Upper Deck directly from Reggie Brown. This certificate expressley warrants the authenticity of the depicted athlete's signature. We hope you enjoy this piece of football history as we at the Upper Deck Company continue to keep you as close to the game as possible.

It doesn't state anything about being singed in the presence of a rep so who knows. I do know that all of Bubba Trammell's cards that any company ever had him signed, were signed by his father.

The way I understand it is that a lot of these cards are sent to the players, with instructions (especially ones with multiple colors like 20 in blue, one in red or whatever). I don't think that these cards are signed in front of reps.
