Change find plus Scanner trick

Found this in my change from a newsstand.
It's a 1989 Singapore 50 cents coin.

The edge has lettering saying "REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE" and a little flower.

I thought of taking a photo of the edge but I got lazy and decided to lower the brightness on the scanner and prop up the coin and as you see the edge came out.

Nice find, Man
I graduated from high school in Singapore that year. Used that same coin everyday for the bus and for drinks after soccer and rugby practice. Brings back a lot of memories!!
A little quiz for you ..... what are the 4 official languages represented on the coin??

You can say that again. > 20 hours in the air going there, a bit better coming back. Coach on A330s is a miserable experience unless you are 5'2" or less. Jetlag's not too bad now. I welcomed the cold when I came back here.
