    Auction did not meet the reserve.

    IMO, not enough time to get the word out, 1 day auction; auction had a reserve; no picture; $10 to ship the coin image; PLUS another $7.50 for insurance! All those probably had some impact on bidding.

    Again, JMHO.

  • I do not know if it was a 1 day auction but it was ended early by seller. I hope he
    got a great offer he couldn't refuse. I would have bid.

    No need to be critical of Don's listing. He RARELY sells a thing much less on ebay. I believe that this is a pricey coin...probably 1500.00 or more and would have cost him 12-15.00 to ship registered in a box.

    Don has a pretty good eye for lincolns and those of us here that know him are aware of that.....of course ebayers do not but I would not have hesitated to bid strong money on the coin if I wanted or needed it going solely on his word.

    Hope you did good on it Don.
