First Big Outing of 2006

I got out for a couple of hours at an old school site on Thursday. I've been hunting this place for 25 years and it's produced its fair share of silver. I thought I had it hunted out, but the other day goes to show you that no place is ever "hunted out." Within minutes I had a Wheatie and the 1936 Merc. The Buffalo Nickel is my first in all my years of detecting and it has a strong date of 1936. The Roosie is a 1950-D, the Wheaties are 1941, 1944, 1945, and 1945-S and a 1941 Nickel.

Two silvers, a Buffalo, and four Wheaties?

Hunted out? Au contraire! That site looks like it has a lot left to produce! image

Wow, looks like you hit the last virgin patch of ground out there. I'll bet Steve's jaw dropped to the floor when you showed him that haul. image
Always on the lookout for a silver opportunity.
