Will PSA Authenticate or Grade this Vintage Ruth?

I know that PSA will grade some postcards, most notably the 1950's Dormand postcards. Wondering if PSA will holder this card.

Its a Japanese postcard issued to celebrate the Tour of Japan in 1931. That year marked the first American All Star tour of Japan. Although Ruth was not present until the 1934 tour, his reputation preceeded him and he is here proclaimed the"World Home Run King". It was Ruth's great charisma and showmanship on the field that inspired the founding of the first Japanese professional baseball team in 1936. Part of a set of premium postcards issued in conjunction with a children's magazine, Ruth is the only non-Japanese subject, a tribute to his great popularity in Japan.

I'd love to include this in my HOF set registry. Finding an affordable Ruth otherwise will be a challenge.

Sanella's are relatively cheap and plentiful.

  • That is a nice item. I do not think that it is plentiful. Not sure if they would grade though sorry.

  • What are the dimensions ???? If it fits in a holder (reg or tall boy) you ashould be able to get it graded... But that looks a little larger than those holders to me....

Its standard postcard size. The scan is larger than actual size. It will fit in a tallboy holder.

I think it will present well in a holder.

The card dimensions are 3 5/8 x 5 11/16. I'm not sure of the max size for a tall boy holder.
