It seems lately like feedback is just an afterthought. I guess once people get theirs built up, it's not such a big deal to them. I still leave it for every transaction, and I just thought I'd post here and compare to you guys, sort of like a group of housewives thumbing through a playboy.

    My ratio comes to 84.102 %

    I think you will find that ebayers with more than 1000 tranactions will have similar numbers within a % point of two.

    I adjusted my ratio a bit to only reflect positives. My 2 negs were both retaliatory, but I guess I'm lucky I don't have more since I've left 24 negs and 14 neutrals. (Only 1 since 1 Jan 2005, so I guess I've mellowed a bit, or am simply buying fewer raw cards.) Anyway, 1836/2126 = 86.36%

    I do not understand why feedback score is base on positive from only different members. Why if I get multiple positives from the same buyer that it does not go into my Feedback Score?

    Yeah, who's the "deadbeat POS" ?

    I actually have a couple of neutrals. The thing is, every once in a while the score gets corrected, then when I sell a bunch of stuff again I end up with it being off by one or two again...after a while it catches up. Odd.

    Sellers are POOR regarding feedback. In my feedback to a seller, I will state "seller left FB 1st" if they give me FB after getting payment, before I leave FB for them. If I leave FB after getting the item, and before they they leave me FB, I state at the end of the FB line, "WLFB!"

    Being a retired engineer is a curse, I can't stand looking at all of this data and not do something with it.
    Taking the first 26 data points that have been reported to this point:

    The average FB Ratio is: 84.4
    The minimum value is: 52
    The maximum value is: 99
    The Standard Deviation is: 3
    +- 4 Sigma is: 72.4 low to 96.4 high

    There is something statistically significant going on with the 52% reported and the 99% reported.
