Have You seen This Before?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8752544693&fromMakeTrack=true

I have been following Pujols autographs and their evolution since the fall of 2000. I have never seen anything remotely approaching the way this ball is signed.
Is the PSA/DNA certificate stating that the ball was signed in their prersence? I don't think that is the case. There is no picture available of what PSA certified with the attached ID number and there is no photo in the auction of the ID number being attached to the ball.
Has anyone here ever seen a Pujols autograph like this?
even the most recent examples coming out of the Cardinals Winter Warm Up look nothing like this.
Any help would be appreciated.

  • I got an autograph ball signed by Albert from Spring Training last year. Actually my brother and his friend went hounding and his friend gave me my ball back along with Eck and Mabry's sigs on it as well. A very pleasant suprise.
    Just got done looking mine over and it does look a little different than the Ebay auction.

    On mine the "P" and the "S" connect in the middle at the top. The small straight line on the Ebay photo going through the "S" is something mine lacks.

    I'm no auto. expert at all but with dudes feedback i'd stay the hell away. Did you attend the winter warm up?

  • No unfortunately my Arthiritis will not let me walk or stand that long any more. I hate to take the wheelchair because I just feel in everyone's way. I have a friend who went and got an autograph. He got a ticket in a pre-sell a week or so earlier. The autographe he got he says is like the most recent form of the "A" in the various insert cards on the market, rounded at top and standing alone, with a period following it. Then the large exaggerated "P" with a short bump ghing into the "J" and out of the j into a LARGE "S" with the number 5 in the bottom loop of the "S".

    For the auction I am talking about in my original post, the PSA description states "SSB" Does that stand for "sweet spot ball"? If so, the PSA does not match the photo.

    SSB = single signed ball

    That looks nothing like any Pujols auto I've ever seen. IP, or manufacturer certified...I have a feeling that ball might show up with no sticker on it and with a printout from the PSA/DNA website. I would ask for a scan with the sticker on the ball before I'd commit to buying it. Looks like a very fast, lazy signature at best, and a poor forgery at the worst.
