    The book is titled Histoire de la Monnaie by Veronique Lecomte-Collin and Bruno Collin, published by Tresor Du Patrimoine, 2003, Paris.

    It came as a surprise gift recently from some cousins who know of my infatuation with things small, round, and shiney.image

    So far it's quite good and covers the origin and history of money the world over with a gallic bent towards France. Profusely and wonderfully illustrated and I can read it well enough but I have gotten rusty over the years...
