1963 Vatican Medal

Here's a picture of one of my medals that I thought I would share. It's a Paul VI Year 1 (1963) Vatican Extraordinary Medal in gold (44mm diameter). It commemorates the convocation of the second session of the Vatican II council by Pope Paul VI, continuing the work begun by Pope John XXIII. The reverse shows the Pope entering St. Peter's Basilica, where the bishops are waiting.

Nice medal but I think you need some color correction-a little too green for me (Like who am I to criticize?).image

Thanks for the advice. It looked ok on my monitor, but I saw what you meant when I looked at another. I hope it looks somewhat better now.

Great looking medal. I have it in AR and I think in AE and it always amazes me how the same design looks so different in the different medals......
