  • Doesn't surprise me one bit. That is precisely why I try to sell my coins on the BST/PCGS Registry forums first. eBay is my last resort now. Between the sellers fees and then the PayPal fees...it's almost as if you have to mark up your coin 5-7% in order to get what you really wanted for it.

    I also like the fact that selling on the BST will many times keep the coins in the hands of board members...

    Sell a $50 coin you pay them $2.40 to list than another $2.06 in final value fees, pay using paypal and add on another $1.50 or so for a total of about $5.96 on a $50 sale.

    Ebay is more than your partner, they take the bulk of the profit. Yahoo has free auctions, no losting fees, no commissions, free.
