Free submission question

I have just learned that you can be a part of the set registry without being a CU member. I did not know that (Johnny Carson impression). Are you still eligible for free grades when your set hits 75% if you are not a CU member. I guess for that matter, can you even submit at all if not a member, ie. does being a member only get you access to the grading specials? My membership just expired and these are questions that are now arising for me as I am not interested in renewing at this time.

Wrong you have to be a member to submit cards specials or no specials. I am not sure of the free gradings regarding the 75% reward though
