My first SSP: 1954 G German Mark - NGC MS63

My first SSP thread. Feels kinda exciting. image

Just wanted to give anyone here a shot first before it goes to eBay.

This is the KEY date to the entire Mark series. Krause has this piece listed at $1900 in Unc and "--" in BU.

I was going to have a BIN of $1500 - $1750. Anyone interested around those levels (I'm negotiable with board members? Let me know.

It's a nice, white coin... but the pictures make it look kinda dark. There is no toning. image

Let me know... It goes on ebay Saturday afternoon.

If KM says $1900 in Unc., (I don't have one handy) I think they might be a bit high. My recent "money trend" has the '54-G @ €1400 in Stempelglanz (usually equal to about MS64), second (in this series) only to the '55-G @ €1850. I don't know of any collectors/buyers of this series, but I hope you find one & do well with the coin! image - Preussen
