Nice 1933 Gallaher Film Partners Complete Set - Neat!

Just bought my first non-sport set in years. Used to collect Wacky's, Creature Feature, Star Wars, Planet of the Apes, and Charlie's Angels (Ohhhhhhh Jaclyn!).

Anyhow - I bought a really high grade set, with a few graded - all PSA 8's & 9's. Though many of them are from way before my time, it is neat to see a 70 year old set so pristine. Lots of great US stars - and lots from across the sea. A few of the best are below. I am 40 years old, and I can't ever remember George Burns looking any way but old (From Oh, God until his death he seemed to never change). Love the Fay Wray with the Invisible Man too. Not shown are some Cary Grant's, Douglas Fairbanks Jr.,Bing Crosby, Fred MacMurray, and a bevy of beautiful women.

I know these sets are available fairly cheap across the pond, but boy, this is one sharp set. I think I may grade the rest and register this set. Let me know what you think.

Great cards. For whatever reason, that is the only Gallaher set that I only have a couple graded from and not most of or the entire set. Its the only one with Burns and Allen however. Isnt there one where the couple is a lady and a dog? . When I get home, Ill PM you with the ones I have and see if you need them.

Gotta love the Gallaher artwork and color.

Thanks fellas. The rest of the set ranges from NM to Mint - clean as a whistle and complete.

The art is great - and yes, Norma Shearer & Flush (the dog) appear on card #24. Guess they should have paired Fay Wray with Kong rather than Rains if animals are OK.

I love to see older stuff too. While a poster on the sports boards, I usually read only here - so thought I'd share the pics.
