Any Canon CanoScan 4200F Flatbed scanner users?

am looking to buy a new scanner & wonder if any of you have used this one & how you like it...
...or, perhaps you can recommend another which produces high quality, convenient scans for under $90.
thanks for any input.

I recently bought a Canon 8400F and am VERY happy with it.
  • I have a CanoScan 5000f which I am happy with. All the scans on my website are from the scanner if you want samples. I personally think most scanners are the same, it is the software you get that makes the difference.

  • I bought one Canon 4200F, & took it back same day, and got an epson perfection 2580. I love it.
My ebay store IS CLOSED TEMPORARILY
  • My 3000 ex has worked really well for me. Watch out for the ultra-thin models as they do not scan graded cards in slabs (things with depth) very well in my experience.
