1792 presidential pease medal

can anyone help....purchased this medal at auction approx.7 years ago and have been able to find out little about it......sorry no dig cam....so will try to describe.....medals were handed out to the chiefs of newly contacted tribes....i believe by lewis & clark? item is oblong in dimensions,basically showing a explorer with hand out to a chief plow working in back ground, if anyone has info please help...in interim i will try to post a picture.
