Another one coming from bidkid9...Good? Bad? Indifferent?

Lost out on the others of his that I was bidding on, but ended up being the only bidder on this one, which makes me wonder if I goofed (I normally expect strong competition on better British material, as evidenced by the other material I bid on last night).

Ebay Linky

Since he tends to throw the "UNC" and "aUNC" designations around quite freely, I bought it under the assumption of an XF. Anything nicer will be bonus.

It appears to be problem-free and below 50% of both Krause and Spink. What am I missing?

I think the tone has alot to do with it. The coin details are nice but the tone isn't to my tastes, it's uneven. I followed the link to see which ebay you got it from. I'm seeing .com, this surprises me, if it had been .co.uk then i would have expected the toning to pull it down as us Brits are very picky and for a toned coin to sell well it has to have the pinnacle of toning, 'even' tone. Brown tones always seem to struggle.
