Got some new coins yesterday


I picked up these at our local monthly auction. It's once a blue moon that you find world coins (other than Philippines) in Manila, so for a few dollars each, I couldn't resist. Enjoy! image

1960 South Africa 5 Shillings - 396,000 mintage - 0.500 silver - UNC

1964 Bermuda 1 Crown - 470,000 mintage - 0.500 silver - UNC

1964 Japan 1000 Yen - 15m mintage - 0.925 silver - CH BU

    I love the Bermuda crown and the similar South Africa crown; I've got examples of both of them.

    Thanks, guys! image I won't bore you with the normal take of USPI. Posting lots of pictures of the same coins with the same designs (only different dates) isn't too exciting. I'm trying to be a good darksider and expand my horizon!
