Next Major Auction

OK, who has the next major auction coming up?

I have said this before, and I wish the big guys would do it.

Why don't they decide to spreadh their auctions further apart. I don't mean one company like Mastro or such. For instance, when Mastro had their last auction, I think Lelands, Mile High? or Memory Lane? & Superior were all within like a week of one another.

Wouldn't it make more sense for one of them to have an auction just after the new year when everyone has the holidays BEHIND us?

Lipset is in there somewhere, and CubanBaseball cards along with REA. I just cut and pasted the listing from todays auction report email, it's certainly incomplete, but at least a start.

    Edited for typo.

    Card Auctions Listings

Here is a useful website to see what auctions are coming up.

    You're welcome.
    Capecards
  • How many of those auctions have free catalogs? So many want banking info and prior auction references. I receive the catalog from Geppi's Auction, and it is very nice. Just some good reading. thanks

Mastro is a 75. one time fee (as long as you bid once each auction, win or lose). It's worth that just for the catalogs. REA might be the same, but most of the rest should be free.

I think REA is free. at least I don't ever remember paying them , as far as I know mastro is the only one with the upfront fee . I paid years ago and have a great database of catalogs for the one time fee so it was well worth it. all require references
  • Griffins:

    Wow!!!

Where did you dig up all the auction dates? That is great to have.

    Thank you very much.

Somehow I got on an email list from this site Auction Report It has some decent coverage of auction highlights, etc
As BxB stated, Old Cardboard has an excellent auction calender on their site, which is definitely worth looking at. Their magazine is excellent, the latest issue had an article on 3D photos and card (sorry King, no Kellogg's) and came with 3D glasses. It's primarily focused on pre War baseball cards.
