Can anyone help? Need larger scans for auctions

I am uploading a ton of scans today for my auctions and the images appear small on eBay...I am sure this is a simple fix - anyone know how to make scans larger for auctions on the bay? Thanks

The scans should be 400x400 at the largest so that ebay won't shrink them. If the dimensions are smaller than that, ie you scanned them at a lower res, then they will not look very good when resized as the information has to be "made up" by the image program or the image will pixelize badly.

I've noticed that images show up smaller on eBay if you're using the bulk lister as opposed to listing individually.
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."
  • Are you hosting the pictures on a non Ebay site?

If so you should be able to make them very large. For a good scan of an 8 x 12 picture that I sell I make the image 650 pixesl by about 430 pixels. Check a sample in my auction link in the sig line.

If you're hosting on Ebays pic site then you're limited to size, unless you pick the larger picture option. I think this costs extra.

I suggest hosting on your own site. This lets you pick the size and the quality is better. Most ISPs give you space. I have Comcast.

My listings are posted using Turbo Lister and some HTML that I got from a pic hosting site.
