What's up with the font on this flip?

Peyton SP

Is this legit?
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."

  • Cert begins with 0 so maybe it's older.

    Cert # checks out.

According to the PSA Certification Database, certification number 03296049 is defined as the following:

    CARD INFORMATION
    Year: 1998
    Brand: SP AUTHENTIC
    Player: PEYTON MANNING
    Variety: N/A
    Grade: 9

Will the Mannings come down in price after yesterday's game?

My guess is that the Mannings will come down in price after yesterday's loss, at least somewhat. I can't believe 9's are routinely selling for over $1,000. I also can't believe how many of them have popped up lately considering the card was limited to a print run of 2,000.

  • I'll bet more will show up now and go for less.

A chance on his future success but maybe it can pay off. Hopefully they'll go up or won't go down too much after this year's bump.
