I screwed up and I dont care !! 71 opc hockey

I just finished paying for some 79 opc's I purchased on ebay tonight when I thought I would see what is up with the 71 opc hockey set. I told myself until I have FULLY completed the 79 set I would not bid on any other sets. Well my fingers started working there magic and boom now I have bought (9) 71 opc cards and I am now offically started on the 71 set. I wish there was some medication to cure me from this exciting addiction but then again why waste money on drugs when I can spend them on my new set. (lol) Anyway I still need 10% to finish the 79 set and alot now on the 71 set so if anyone has any of these cards for sale drop me a line as I am into it now.

I currently am selling 2 71 OPC's on eBay. I have several others that may be for sale. So if you are interested PM me if you are looking for 7s, 8s, or 9s.

Good luck with the 71 set. It is tough and as condition sensitive as the 79, IMO.

Lol. There never seems to be any drugs around when you need em. Guess I will just have to keep buying more cards in place of the drugs.

renrutmd, you and I are in similar positions. I'm working on the 1981 Topps hockey set, and against my better judgement I recently began collecting the 1972 Topps hockey set.

Hey, you know what? I've found out that working on multiple sets at the same time allows you to fill the gaps; when there is nothing happening on one set, you'll find there is lots of activity on the other, and vice versa.

Very true phreakydancin. I am really starting to get in the groove on this one. Only problem still left is to tell my wife. But I figure if I time it right it should take about 45 days for her to see the visa bill. By then I can build up enough brownie points that should hopefully cut down on her anger. (lol)
