Thank you for all the help. I now know it is a Brock token.

  • This information is from a 1965 Charlton, so the number may not be accurate anymore.

    Charlton #106 (Breton #724) Brock Monument VG=$1.75, F=$2.50, VF=$4.00, EF=$6.00, UNC=$12.00

<< <i>These lightweight tokens were issued in Upper Canada in memory of General Brock, who was killed at the Battle of Qeenston Heights in 1812. They were struck on the "York Shilling" standard then in use in Upper Canada, whereby the Spanish dollar was worth eight shillings currency. >>

  • BTW, the obverse legend (monument side) reads "Sr. Isaac Brock the Hero of Upper Canada"; reverse legend reads "Success to Commerce & Peace to the World"

Kuhli is correct. It is known as a Brock token. Catalogued by Charlton as UC-6and Breton as #724. There are 7 varieties based on the position of the cheribs heads and shape of the bottom of the urn and the shape of the 1s in the date. Yours looks like UC-6A2: heads under the TH and R, flat bottom on urn, and falt top ones. Value is less than the C$6 in VG.
