I do not think the Portuguese would be honoring him today.

There are no dates mentioned on the medal, but presumably it commemorates a "current" (at time of issue) world leader.

From Wikipedia summary: António de Oliveira Salazar, Prime Minister and Dictator of Portugal from 1932 to 1968.

That's a fairly broad range, but it's the only clue to the date of issue.

It's presumably meant to be part of a series. There are 14 national flags on the reverse - presumably there are 14 in the series? If you had others (or knowledge of others) in the series, the date window could be narrowed down.
Waste no more time arguing what a good man should be. Be one.

Apparently I have been awarded one DPOTD. B)

Only one hit on Google for "leaders politicos no mundo". Looks like a lot of three coins with this being one. No pic, price unintelligible, but it does say gold.

I took it to a coin show today and no one I showed it to has ever heard of it. Since it says .900 fein on the reverse, we were thinking it may be of German origin from the 1960s.
