WTB HERE: MARINE CORPS PROOF AND UNCIRC - ACQUIRED - THANKS TO ALL WHO RESPONDED

I am looking to buy a proof and uncirc Marine Corps silver dollar, one of each.

Seller would have to be willing to send to a military address overseas, which is to say you would need to fill out a customs form at the US post office. The cost of shipping would be the same for the US......shipping to an FPO AE address is the same as shipping to New York, the military postal system picks it up from there.

I was deployed while these were available and missed purchasing them at the US Mint's price. Any help would be appreciated.

I know there are many available on ebay, but most sellers will not ship to an FPO AE address.

Pat

Sorry, you are a couple weeks to late. I bought several, gave one to my father-in-law ex-marine, and sold the others. I am also at an APO Box. I just buy on e-bay.... most sellers don't balk. One insisted postage was higher. I paid as I wanted the item. Next day they apologized, sent a refund of the extra postage, and a nice ANACS seated dime free-bee!

    Good Luck...

  • I have a pair I can send you. I bought these after the mint ran out, so I have right at 130.00 in them. Your welcome to them for that, and whatever the actual shipping is. Not trying to make a profit but I am also not in a position to backup on them. I would guess shipping is about 5-7 bucks. Maybe someone can do better than that, so wait a bit and see. I'll not do anything with them for a day
or two. Send Email to rschoon007@aol.com if no one else can help
at a lesser price. I really hope some one can do better than that.
Also will need specific shipping details, I have never shipped anything like you mentioned.

  • I have a the coin and stamp sets if this packaging form would interest you. It's still sealed in the mint wrapping. PM me if you want one. Question on the fpo. I have shipped to apo's before, and the only difference is I had to do it at the post office, couldn't pay for it online and
print a shipping label, and also couldn't track the package. Is this true for the fpo's also?
