I paid for 6 auctions with Paypal and got Unpaid Item Strikes

WTF is wrong with eBay. I paid for these items, didn't like the condition and ended up leaving negatives for the seller. He then opens upaid items against me which I respond to promptly and provide my paypal transaction numbers. I thought it would be all over there...

...but no! Now today, 30 days after he levied these I get hit with the strikes. Boy am I glad I opened a buyers account ad if they suspend it, it will be time to open another.

Did you file a chargeback or receive a refund for the items?

  • I am beginning to believe that Paypal had a serious problem in December. I know of one website that stopped taking orders via paypal until they got things worked out, and I also paid for 2 items via paypal and haven't received anything.

It's looking like our money went to either fund a Paypal Christmas party or Paypal Christmas Bonuses.

i filed a dispute resolution thingy w/ paypal aobut 7 months ago. 3 months later when resolved (w/o their assistance), i closed the dispute online.

last month i received an e-mail regarding my current "dispute resolution", huh? that was 4 months ago fools!!!

No. I still have the cards and the seller still has my money.

You should be able to dispute those NPB strikes. If you replied to them, the seller would have had to choose the "Close Dispute - No other option but to collect FVF" and if you put in your paypal transaction numbers, you should be golden. I would fight that.

On a side note, I'll assume you gave the seller a chance to either refund or replace the cards you weren't happy with the condition of prior to leaving the negative...?
