shipping an uncut sheet

I need to ship an uncut sheet and am looking for anybody's suggestions on how best to do so. The sheet is currently framed in plexiglass, but I've been told it will cost $200 to box and ship it (48" x 33") thru DHL. Would I be better off just rolling it and shipping it in a tube and would that cause any damage to the cards? Hope someone can help!

I have had many sheets sent in heavy duty cardboard tubes with no problem.

Spend some money on a large tube with a large radius. Art and Framing stores will have them.

I think if you fold it up real well it'll fit in a FedEx mailer.

USPS has a Priority 6"X38" mailer for architectural plans and art available and they are free I've shipped un cut sheets in them no problems cost to ship is abut $9.00.

If you cut the cards up into singles - it will probably fit into a USPS Priority Mailer box.

I once mailed an uncut sheet and I went to a carpet store and used the really thick cardboard tube that the carpeting comes on. That tube cannot be crushed.
