I am surprised nobody posted this. It took Sutter 13 tries. I have to think that Goose Gossage will now be a shoe-in since he is only in his 6th year of eligibility.

Buster Olney is all wet. Gossage will not need the Veteran's Committee. Goose has 9 more years of eligibility and he gets closer every year like Sutter.
