    Forgot to mention my latest purchase. This is from a dealer friend of mine. The 12-S is a tough date. First time I've owned one in any condition.

    No offence but dont the colors on the reverse look like paint?
    Collecting cleaned, scratched, scraped, AT and ugly POS coins for over 2 years now!

    No offense taken. I have several half centavos that reflect the same colors. The silver coins in this condition put out contrasting silver colors. I don't know, but it may be a combination of the lines & stars that cause this condition.........but absolutely no paint................Rick
