Which of these cards would you most want?

I am considering selling a few cards and hoping reactions from you guys will:

a) give me a good idea of demand
b) give me a reality check that maybe I should not be selling it

Here are the cards:

71 Hank Aaron PSA 8
72 Munson PSA 9
75 Gary Carter PSA 9
75 Goose Gossage PSA 10
76 George Brett PSA 8
78 Bruce Sutter PSA 10

Thanks for any coments.

    #1 - the Aaron

Easily the nest value imho. The Sutter 10 will garner a lot of attention.

I know there are a lot of Thurman Munson fans on the boards so that one will get some attention also.

Gossage might get an upward blip if he goes in the Hall today.
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.
  • The Munson will by far and large pull the biggest numbers..

Not here on the boards though....stick to Ebay if you're looking for MAX $$$$...

I would sell the two 10's, especially if they get in the HOF today. In my opinion there is a HUGE "over" valuation on 10's so I would sell those if looking to thin the collection and make a few bucks. Just my op.
  • The pop reports for these 6 cards are interesting:

    71 Aaron PSA 8 (323) with 30 higher
    72 Munson PSA 9 (37) with 1 PSA 10
    75 Goose PSA 10 - 3 total 10s
    75 Carter PSA 9 (49) None Higher
76 Brett PSA 8 (102), but only 5 higher - this is the toughest Brett card in top condition
    78 Sutter PSA 10 - 3 10s total

Assuming Sutter alone makes the Hall, I am tempted to believe that the 78 Sutter might become the most expensive card perhaps in the $250-300 range.
Aaron, Munson, Carter and Goose mid $200s
    Brett $125 range

Thanks for the input so far.

Aaron. '71s in PSA 8 are always nice.

balco757, if you decide to sell, I would definately be interested in the Munson and the Gossage.

I haven't looked in a while, but Carters in 9 were selling for a few (about 2.5 to 3) hundred dollars last year. But as of this moment I would say the Sutter is the #1 card in that lot. Hurry up and sell before population escalates.
    WANTED:
2005 Origins Old Judge Brown #/20 and Black 1/1s, 2000 Ultimate Victory Gold #/25
2004 UD Legends Bake McBride autos & parallels, and 1974 Topps #601 PSA 9
Rare Grady Sizemore parallels, printing plates, autographs

    Nothing on ebay

    I would sell them all.

The demand factor.............Sutter, Munson, Aaron, Gossage, Carter then Brett in that order IMO
