PSA Review Question

Quick question for all of you who have sent in a card to PSA for review.

I recently had a 1920s strip card graded as Authentic. No more than 2 weeks ago, a similar card, in nearly identical shape and size (in fact, mine is ever so slightly larger), but in in my opinion worse condition graded out as a PSA 5.

Has anyone ever had luck providing a scan of a previously graded card along with their disputed graded card to PSA and been successful?

Thanks in advance.

    Good for you.
  • Hi Steve,

Nope different card this time... cooler one in my opinion. 1925 W590 Robert T. Jones Jr. Rookie, or Pre-Rookie... its a sweet item.

The Larry situation is interesting because as it turns out, Joe Orlando stood behind the grade 100% and refused to offer money for it. I do have my card, and in the end, thats all that matters.

If I find anything out, I'll let you know. Email me at kylebicking@yahoo.com if you want me to contact you directly.

the ruth card was graded 'authentic" if I am not mistaken and that is why PSA stood behind it. had they gave it a numerical grade then perhaps then they would have done something.

    good luck
    Good for you.
  • Hey Steve,

The Ruth was graded an 8. Larry thought it was too small, investigated, was proven wrong and then with everything that happened, I asked for it back rather than go through worrying about it anymore. Atleast its over and Larry was very apologetic over the whole situation.
