Set Registry question about grading

I don't really know very much about the set registry. If I submit cards under the set registry grading special, do all the cards have to be a different or can I submit numerous cards of the same player and use the highest graded card.

If I am reading your question right, the registry is whatever you make it. Although a given card can and will only appear once in any registry, regardless of it's specialization. let's say for instance you have a 1989 UD Ken Griffey Jr PSA 10. That card probably applies to the 500 HR Club set, the 89 UD set, a Ken Griffey Jr Basic and Master set and probably a few others...

Take a look around the registries that are listed, personally I like the "Key Card" and "HOF" registries myself. They are smaller and generally consist of star players you've heard of. I don't have the bankroll or the enthusiasm for some of the commons in the older sets that others do, so my focus is on the key card sets. Plus, they are smaller in size and more easy to complete. It fits perfectly with what my collecting goals are at the moment. You just have to find something that excites you. For me, the Football All Time Rushers set is what got me started. I spent about a year on it, then the next thing I know I have 28 other sets registered. It's a bug can that bite, and bite hard. image

You can submit as many of the same card as you wish. you will pay for all of them though. Then you can register the particular card that you want in as many sets as it is included in.

For instance i send in 20 1965 Topps Yogi berra's and 1 gets a 9 the rest are all 7's. I can then add that 9 to the 65 set, the 65 mets set, and a HOF set .

I think that is the question.

    Good for you.
