Hi David: I understand that PCGS is considering moving to a 100 point grading scale to provide more grade designations, allowing for more precise grading of today's "tweener" coins.
In the same spirit of refining the grading system, would you also consider the possibility of adding both the Cameo and the Semi-Prooflike (SPL) designations specifically for Morgan Dollars, in light of how many Morgan Dollar collectors specialize in today's PL and DMPL Morgan Dollars.
Thanks in advance for your reply!

There is not much support for a 100 point grading scale.
Adding Cameo and semi-PL is not in the works. I believe there should be some subject differences within grades...because there are!!!...For example, some say we should grade toning. But I believe that great toning is just an add-on and some coins trade for premiums because of outrageous toning...and that's OK...and we shouldn't get involved.
Thanks,
David
