It has been a very long time since I have posted over here on the darkside. In fact, it has been a long time since I have posted anywhere other than the Metal Detecting board. This Jeton is my best find from the UK over the past 5 months or so of detecting. I know it's probably nothing spectacular to this bunch on here, but would like to hear your comments. I haven't attempted to clean it--this is the same way it looked coming out of the English dirt.

excellent find and in very great shape too-- probably dates to around 1620 or so

I think it is a great find. I live around very historical areas(Williamsburg and Yorktown). I would love to go detecting, but for some reason they frown on a preson digging up the countryside in those areas
